From 1 December 2009, Josie Long cordially invites you to pledge to do one thing every day for 100 days in a bid to generally make things better. The plan is simple:

  1. 1. Register here with your name, email and pledge
  2. 2. From 1 December, this pledge must be fulfilled every day for 100 days (or longer if the spirit of goodwill takes hold!)
  3. 3. Document your activity where possible - snap it, film it, write about it - and keep us updated on how you're getting along

Total number of pledgers so far - 882

Ready for a mad-cap dash through the jungle? Yep.

The Hunting Party 9

Flying through the trees at supersonic speeds paffing aside simplistic Tazrzan references PAF! W J C just jumped on our desk and slammed down another page of his Gungle The Hunting Party comic. It’s bloomin’ WOW! Isn’t it? Careful of the desk though.

Oh look! Karen’s here. Karen Cheung. New Girl. Party animal, kinda:

Day Sixty Nine

What is it about the passing of time?

tammy

Is it about blowing out the minutes on a dandelion clock?

100days_titlepage_250px

Or counting off the days on a home-made calendar?

Tony

Or is it all about the people you spend the time with?

Day Sixty Eight

Posted February 6, 2010 by Lesley Thomas Perdu

Over the sixty seven days so far, sometimes it’s the case that a few hundred dayers go a little quiet. Often we think, sadly, that they’ve dropped by the wayside. Sometimes, however, like self-improving Frankenstein monsters, they come back in a blaze of posts. NickD is one such example, in more ways than one. He’s just completed a mammoth catch-up of his drawings. Our favourite of which is this awesome picture of a 2CV. Drawn on 40 individual post it notes.

Click for a closer look. Fantastic.

Nod to Mia Wallden, and Michael Sheen, who have both just done massive updates, too. Check them out.

Elsewhere, do go read Eddie Ross’s thoughts on the project, two-third in – how he’s been getting on, and how he’s been coming up with the tiny memories, making up his tiny moment cartoons. Very illuminating. In celebration, here is his latest high concept effort:

Good to hear Eddie. We’d love to hear how you’re getting on. Write it up on an a blog, or email us. Feeling better? A bit? Not so much? Let us know about it. josie@hundreddays.net
